Fact: One of the leading causes of house fires, bodily harm and unexpected and costly repairs to your home electrical system is a lack of attention. Just like anything, your electrical system requires tender loving care.

These three simple programs can achieve just that and save you on costly repairs.

Program 1: One of the leading causes of service failure is water leaking into your meter and circuit breaker panel. Causes are cracks and or tears in the exterior cable or defective seal at top of meter allowing water to enter into your system. An annual inspection and (8) point check of your incoming electric service to and including your circuit breaker panel can help prevent this as follows:

  1. Inspect weather-head and incoming service entrance cable for cracks and or tears.
  2. Apply duct seal compound to top of meter enclosure and entrance into dwelling
  3. Inspect for proper tight termination at ground rod
  4. Inspect for proper tight termination at water main ground
  5. Inspect for proper tight termination at all circuit breaker branch wire terminations
  6. Inspect for proper tight termination at all neutral and ground wire terminations
  7. Inspect for proper tight termination at main breaker wire termination
  8. Apply deoxidizer agent to main breaker and neutral wire termination
    Annual Pre-Paid Cost: $199.00

Program 2: Same as program 1 and in addition to as follows:

  1. Waive all dispatch fees for any service call. Service call fees range from $55 to $75 depending on time of day. Just two calls will pay for this extended program.
    Annual Prepaid Cost: $299.00

Program 3: Same as program 2 in addition to as follows:

  1. Inspect and test all GFCI receptacles and or circuit breakers to insure proper operation
  2. inspect and test all smoke detectors to insure proper operation
  3. Replace all light bulbs that have burned out
  4. Lock in at our regular service rate and not pay same day of after hours rates
    Annual Prepaid Cost: $399.00

Terms of preventative contracts:
Any and all repairs required outside of specific program details are not included and will be charged at our service rates accordingly. Preventative programs are scheduled during our normal working hours and must be scheduled in advance. Preventative maintenance Contracts must be pre-paid annually and are valid for one year of receipt.
